Placing Youth on the Path to Success

At Newburgh YouthBuild (NYB), we are strong believers in the ability of our youth to succeed. Our programming and activities are designed to help youth reach their goals and fulfill their highest potential. We are proud of the community and are committed to watching youth achieve their goals for their future.

Who We Are

Youth have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At NYB, we are here to give youth ages 16 to 24 the support they need in order to shape them into leaders of the future. We have an educational program, construction and nursing training and certifications, and leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives. Donate today, and see how you can make an impact!

Construction and Nursing Certifications, and Volunteering

Making a Difference One Step at a Time

NYB participants will choose to participate in one of two tracks, Nursing and Construction. Those in the Nursing program will work to obtain their Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA). Participants in the Construction track will work on construction projects to develop affordable housing for the community. Construction participants will obtain their OSHA 10 and NCCER Construction certifications as part of the program.

All program participants will volunteer time to build disability access ramps for neighbor's homes in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Through volunteering, program participants engage with community members learn the value of working together for a common goal while meeting new and interesting individuals.

Fundraising Opportunities

Shaping the Leaders of Tomorrow

NYB empowers youth aged 16-24 in the greater Newburgh area to reach their fullest potential through skill building and education. Participants work to earn their high school equivalency (HSE) while obtaining certifications in construction and nursing. Our Fundraising Opportunities provides our youth with the tools to obtain their education and learn a trade while improving their own community.  Your support will provide participants with tools, work clothes, meals, transportation, and other necessities to reach their academic and employment goals.

The NYB team is grateful for the work of our community partners who dedicate their time and resources to support the youth in our program. If you are interested in partnering with NYB to support our youth please contact us today!
